Offered from our private collection: An early 1960's edition "S35" easy chair by Marcel Breuer for Thonet.
Based on the Bauhaus principles, this chair is designed in a timeless design, using only tubular steel frame parts and leather. Marcel Breuer, known for many design icons such as the 'Wassily' chair, was born in 1902 in Hungary. Studied from the early 1920's before applying to the Bauhaus school in Weimar, Germany. Breuer was very talented and designed numerous buildings, houses and furniture pieces.
