About the designer:
Oki Sato, the founder of the nendo design studio, brings his design philosophy to life not only through the "N01" chair but also in graphics, art installations, and architecture. Born in Toronto, Canada, Sato moved to Tokyo to earn an M.A. in Architecture from Waseda University. In 2002, he established the nendo studio, which now boasts a global reputation for its architectural projects and striking furniture designs.
