Ethnographic Shield
A handcrafted ethnographic shield, carved out of one piece of wood by the Zulu tribe, South Africa & Lesotho.
A beautiful piece of so called "primitive" art. Used in the past as a decorative way to protect themselves, nowadays desirable due to its highly decorative appearance. Painted with rich pigment and not easily to be broken, like the spirits of the warriors!
