Good - visible, slight wear, commensurate with age
A bronze sculpture of a whippet.
The body lines and the shades on it create a lively, energized image. The bronze is nicely aged. The whippet is a dog breed whose origin is not entirely clear. On the one hand one thinks of a descent from the pharaoh dog that came to England during the Roman invasion, on the other hand one thinks of crosses between greyhounds, Italian greyhounds and terriers. The latter is more likely.
